Kampot Port

The Kampot International Tourism Port was built to serve international trips by sea between Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand.

Now, it is used for trips between Kampot and a few Cambodian islands.

The Port is located at the end of the Kampot River where it flows into the Bay of Cambodia (some call it the Bay of Thailand).

The closest island to the Port is Koh Tonsay or Rabbit Island (20 minutes away), and the next major island closest to the Port is Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam. About 40 minutes away by boat.

The Port is not near any major business or tourist location. The trip by road is 15 minutes to or from downtown. The road is under construction until maybe May 2025.

Virtually no services currently at the Port. You’ll need private transport to get to or from the Port. A really small food stand is on the Pier. Free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms. Indoor seating. A mini-mart and coffee shop inside the Port. A large gift shop. Staff to help customers and visitors. That’s it!
