Kampot, Cambodia
Cambodia’s #1 tourist destination. (After Angkor Wat, of course)
For the last couple years, Kampot has been the top tourist destination in the country. At least for Khmer (Cambodian) people.
Kampot Riverside. Downtown. Countryside. Bokor Mountain National Park. And right near Kep, Cambodia.
For partying, relaxation, touring, outdoor adventures, restaurants from over 50 different countries. Everything’s here. (except for a big city)
Most people coming here by ship will want to stay at least a few days here, before moving on.
And most people will want Kampot to be their last (and best) destination in Cambodia before leaving the country.
Tourist season is from November to March. Beautiful weather. Very little rain.
Starting in May (maybe March maybe April), it starts to get hot. And July the rains start…… Still good, but not for most. Rain on half the days, but very GREEN around the country. For some reason, July seems to be the most popular month for foreign tourists.
But any time of year, you’re always welcome in Kampot.
